In the beginning of our film, we had an abrupt change from Ally listening to the source music Payphone by Maroon 5 to Ally answering Sarah's FaceTime call. When Ally answered Sarah's FaceTime call, there was no source music playing in the back. To fix this mistake we made in the beginning of the movie, we re-shot the opening and filmed Ally stopping the source music coming from her laptop when she sees that Sarah is FaceTiming her. By changing this scene, we had to update our script so it would fit in with our updated film.

Another revision we fixed in our film was making the sound of Ally and Ashley talking in the morning when they wake up louder. Many of our classmates informed us that they couldn't hear the dialogue of Ally and Ashley in the morning, and this influenced us to revise this since Ally and Ashley's dialogue in the morning is important for the viewer to hear so they can understand the storyline of our film. On February 25th, we revised this by filming the morning scene closer to the girls waking up so the microphone attached to the camera could pick up the dialogue better and end up making the sound louder in the film. Rachel (Ally) and Lauren (Ashley) also talked louder which helped with the sound of the dialogue.

After reviewing our group's revisions, the first thing we changed about our film was Patty's costume. She originally was wearing a grey baseball top with sea foam green leggings and had no make-up on. We were not prepared the day we shot and this is why Patty's costume was not anything special and didn't frighten anyone in the audience. What we did now was plan Patty's costume and match it with her personality. On the date of February 25, We re-filmed and had Patty wear black leggings with a black sweatshirt, black eye make-up, and made her hair look tangled and dirty as if she hasn't washed it in a few days.

After receiving the feedback from our classmates, my group and I got some positive comments about our film. Some of the responses our classmates complimented us with was that our plot was well developed and easy to comprehend, we had a good variety of camera shots, we had good dialogue, and our classmates liked the location we filmed at. Our classmates also gave us negative feedback about The Neighbor . One of our constructive criticisms said that we need to revise Patty's costume to make her more creepy looking. To make Patty's costume creepier, our plan was to dress her in all black and place black make up underneath her eyes. Another one of our constructive criticisms said that we had to edit the clips better. We will fix this by cutting out the awkward beginning of the clips in our film when we are about to say our lines. In our film, we incorporated camera shots and angles to present the audience our genre: thriller and horror. One of the camera shots that we used to develop the genre was the high angle shot of Patty laying in Ally's bed, tightly holding her portrait to her chest. This shot presented to the viewers Patty's obsession with Ally and also how crazy she is since she broke into Ally's house while she was at the beach. Also, the mid shot of Patty walking through Ally's backyard develops the genre of thriller and horror by representing Patty as a deranged person since she is attempting to break into Ally's house. Our group's film is advertising to a younger crowd as the girls in The Neighbor are in high school. Ally, Ashley, and Sarah identify as the judgmental, rude girls in high school and Patty is the girl who gets teased because she looks and acts different than everyone else.
