Film Project Genre Research Would You Rather

The movie Would You Rather is a thriller and horror film. The first two minutes of the film shows a young woman coming back to her hometown because her brother got into an accident. While she is at home, she is taking care of her brother and applying for a job at a restaurant. The shots established throughout the beginning of the film are a two shot showing the young woman applying for a job with the restaurant manager, a long shot showing the whole restaurant with the woman in the middle of it, and a mid-shot showing the young woman's upper body. There are fade outs in the transitioning of scenes and the music is very intense and creepy making the viewer feel a sense of fear. The opening credits in the beginning of the film are staggered between the scenes of the woman in the restaurant, displaying the production companies they worked with, like IFC Films. The film Would You Rather's budget and profit is unknown and the film has been nominated for the Fright Meter Award.
